HELLO!

it's been 34979347597979475o years since I last blogged. I can't take it looking at my last post and cringing every single time i see it. Cos' well...it was so..last month!
haha.

Right now i'm being nostalgic. Listening to all my old jesse mccartney and hilary duff songs. Haha, yes i'm pathetic. :D

Kemei just sms-ed me! ;) She mentioned something about toasting her halfway-expired raisin bun and now it's fully-expired. Smtg like that. Now, we can conclude that heat speeds up the process of expire-ating. Hahaha! :) Okay, wth amirah.

Back to blogging proper, i'm gonna blog about Sat! A few of us went to Chinese Garden to help out in an event called Funtasia (for CIP hours). Yea, apparently it's to celebrate Singapore Pools' 40th anniversary. It was a lonnggg day. Therefore, a long post. So brace yourselves! :]

We(18 of us!) met up at Chinese Garden Mrt and went to chinese garden. Got lost for awhile, saw a komodo dragon, met some familiar faces yada yada yada. Not important. We were then assigned our groups of four/five and handed over to our Group-in-charge. MY group consisted of Kemei, May, Gen and me and our leader was Kevin. Haha, he very funny one! He asked us if we had boyfriends(!!) LOL. Haha, we just gave him the 0.0 face.

Okay, i shall just highlight funny and blog-worthy things. We had to give out mentos sweets to small kids or whoever who looked angry. Haha!

We were given this paper bag to place our sweets. Yep, So Kemei and I stationed ourselves and May and Gen were less than 100m away from us.

Funny and Blog-worthy happenings(:

1) Kemei and I would count to five and then say "Hi. Welcome"(continously). We did this non-stop for quite awhile. There were times when suddenly there wouldn't be anyone infront of us and we'd just continue saying "Hi. Welcome" I bet we look so KUKU! HAHAHAHHA^^

2) Kevin was busy saying something to Kemei and I while passing to us our raisin muffins. He gave us 3 as he had another extra. I placed them in my paper bag together with the mentos sweets. Then, this old lady came up to me and asked for mentos. So i opened my paper bag and she snatched me raisin bun instead of the mentos sweets! I was like "EH!". She apparently didn't hear and when off running with that stupid grin on her face. GRRR *bares teeth*

3) Kemei, Gen and I were waiting for Mel and May to leave the toilet. So we waited outside by the railings. Haha, Clever me came up with a bril idea! Sooo, we were in our senang-diri position and looking straight. Our plan was to do a synchronized bow when they came out of the toilet! HAHAHHA. BUT BUT BUT. Melissa wentand spoiled the whole thing can! They used a different route so they didn't have to pass by us at all...-.-"

4) When a group of Mats (malay ah-bengs) and Anjeks (indian ah-bengs) decided to take a picture of Rabia and Rezi. When the guys showed the pics to those two, Rabia went screaming and ran away. Hahahah :D :D

5) When the minister (tharman shamugaratnam) laid eyes on me(and sarah)! (this sounds wrong...) Our convo:

staff member: This are the guides involved in our project
Minister : Are you from different schools?
Sarah and Me: *nods head* (but actually we're not...)
Minister : All the best!
Sarah : Thank you
Amirah: Good evening, minister!

Okay. like omgzxzxz. I was so star-stuck. In this case, Minister-struck? The "good evening, minister" abit late laaa. Hahahaa, kuku me.

Yea yea, so we ended abit earlier and headed back to chinese garden mrt. Did Cedar Guides Cheer along the way :]

I love love love my fellow guides!

The lake at dusk.
Okay, the story behind this photo is funny. May and gen were cue-ing up for Cotton candy, i think. But The sign said "For Kids ONLY". Hahaha, compare those two with the kids around. Go figure. Oh, according to the both of them there was this old man cue-ing up also. And he had to bend his knees to blend in. LMAO! ^^

Kevin's Group(:
