A circle. The only shape with no sides and no end. I think our lives are like circles where we chase things that have no end to it, or none that is visible anyway. Why? We tend to chase those who hurt us and ignore those who adore us. We chase those who are “unattainable” and see those who aren’t as something you would settle for when you have no other choice. We chase to satisfy our materialistic desires failing to realise that it can never be satiated.

I think men often lose sight of what is important and as a result, make the wrong choices. And later on in life, some of us become unmanned by grief and find ourselves breaking down and weeping for time to rewind itself just so we could correct whatever we did wrong. But alas, time stops for no man.

You're a know-it-all

Whether you’re aware of it or not, at some point in our lives, we all act like an officious know-it-all. Too ready to give advice or orders, as if our limited life experiences makes us more knowledgeable than those around us. We become bossy and interfering while deluding ourselves into believing we’re being altruistic and helpful. We must, at some point, realise that each situation is unique and molded by circumstance. That no individual is more superior than the other. We all have something to learn and value from the other.

UPDATES

Finally cleared my tagboard from all the spammers who had the cheek to claim they weren't spammers.

I'm so sorry i haven't been updating much at all. I promise to blog more often, with A's over and all. I'm really surprised (in a good way) that there are still people reading my blog! & i realised my prev posts are all spontaneous emotional rants. hehhh

So i shall blog about what i've been doing after A's! Sorry if this bores you..

Right after my last paper which was geog paper 2, my classmates hawa & Afiqah went out of the hall to scream fr joy (literally) while the rest of us screamed in our heads hahah. So anyway, Hawa, xingjie, evelyn and I went to watch breaking dawn. Before that we went fr lunch at Fish & Co. It was quite funny cos they were taking ages to cook the food and we had so little time to eat since we didnt wanna miss our show. So we were like "in 10 minutes must finish". And then later "ok add 2 more minutes" then "ok 1 more minute". lol :) Photos below!

Chocolate Mousse for dessert :) abit too thick according to the rest but i thot it tasted great!

Arctic Fish & Chips(yess its quite large!!). Fries are abit on the dry side. But overall, pretty superb. Or maybe i was just hungry?

So we rushed to GV & watched breaking dawn. The show was awesome!!!! I cried at the part bella sort of died. It was sooo sad. While my friends xingjie & evelyn just stoned throughout and had that "Why am i watching this" face. Oh welll...

Went to bedok library after that to just sit down & read to my heart's content without having to feel guilty at all (finally finallyyyy after waiting for so long!). Hmm didnt do much during the weekends and just lazed around at home. Visited Grandpop on sunday with dad & went fr macs at around 10.30 at night and had a HTHT. & it was truly special because my dad is not the kind to be emotional.

Monday

Went fr dental in the morn. And it was so sucky (more than usual) so im not gonna bother blogging about that cos im not keen on reliving it. Went to school to clear my locker cos yan's present is still rotting in there heh hehh :P

OK SORRY FOR KILLING EVERYONE FROM BOREDOM WITH MY MUNDANE LIFE.

Just a part of life

Sometimes the pieces just don't fit no more. And the harder you try to fit those pieces into the gaps, the outcome would still be the same. If someone doesn't want you in their life anymore, accept it and then let it go. Like they said, holding onto someone who doesnt feel the same way would be like hugging a cactus. The tighter you hold, the more painful it will be.
