HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Okay 2009 is finally here :)

Times moves too fast.

It's that time of the year again when we make our new year resolutions and stare back at last year's resolutions and think, "Really? haha i don't rmb writing that down as a resolution"

Have i achieved that? I'm dissapointed with myself for different reasons than i was last year.

Stronger person? This year was definitely rougher than last year. I made it, so yea i guess so (hopefully)

I won't be posting up this year's resolutions cos they're too personal. And i don't like the idea of people using my new year resolutions against me.

Puppy Love

I found this story on the net. The ending is damn unexpected. Hahah, enjoy :D

I think I may be in love.

It started a few months ago. After school, I walked home, which was only a couple of blocks away. It was sunny and I finally had a day of no homework, so I took a walk to the park which was just another block away.

That's where I met him.

He was cute. And I loved his hair. Perfect in every way I thought.

But then I saw her.

He was with this girl from my school. I didn't hate her, but I might now. She waved to me and said "hi."

"Hi Anney," I replied.

"Do you come here often?"

"Uh, not really. Sometimes."

"Oh, I come here pretty much everyday with Ren." She looked over at him.

So now I know his name. Ren.

I said "bye," we parted ways, and I walked back home.

Starting the next day, I went to the park everyday after school to see Ren.

I would sit on the swings and watch in envy as Anney and Ren ran around in the field together.

And then I would be disappointed when Anney and Ren didn't come.

But those disappointments didn't keep me from going to the park everyday.

Even if I couldn't have him, it was enough to see him and be near him.

It was a hopeless one-sided love that I was just going to internalize and accept it as that.

Then, it was that day before finals.

As usual, Ren was with Anney, and I was with myself.

Then, Anney came over to me. Ren followed her.

"Hey Isa."

"Hey."

"Well, um, I'm moving after this year..."

"Oh."

"...and, you know, I can't take Ren with me."

"Yeah. I guess that really sucks."

"But, I noticed how much you like him—"

Shoot. So she wasn't oblivious after all.

"—and if you want, you can have him."

I can... have him? He can be mine?

"Seriously?"

"Yeah! I know that you will take great care of him."

"Well…"

"Please, Isa. Ren really needs someone."

I glanced over at Ren. He was as perfect as ever. This was as perfect as it could be.

"Ok, sure."

"Thank you, Isa! We can keep in touch after I move."

"Yeah."

"Ok, bye now. I need to make my last days with Ren last forever."

The day after the last day of school, Anney left, and Ren was mine.

I sat with Ren at the park.

"Hey Ren. I want you to know that I've loved you from the first time I saw you, and I hope you can learn to love me too."

"Woof!" Ren sat and wagged his tail.

My blog hiatus was only 5 days, haha so much fr it. Okay, i wanna blog about a few things starting from last week

Last week was hectic, went out every single day. But totally enjoyed it!

Caught twilight last tuesday, 16th Dec, with Sya :) Walked around century square for an hour plus just catching up, before watching the movie! I thought the movie was really good. As in yea sure, it doesnt leave the same impact as the book does but it was the best they could do fr a movie :D :D

wednesday, 17th dec


Met Yan hong for lunch at tm. Walked around, bought a few things plus mango sale! Spent $50 in just those few hours. Sighh, haha then went over to my house to do something. HEEH :) got a mini lecture from my mom afterwards, but it was worth it. Love being impulsive :D

Had alot of fun with that tauge, reading our biodatas and all.

Had Registration prep in school. Eunice helped me write the instructions on the board, and thus ours was the nicest!

Sec1 Registration! Was a counter pc/psl. Was in charge of Classroom 6 with all the names that started with "P" and "S". Met one of the neighbours and mdm habibah! She was one of the teachers that took us to Perth when i was P5. Here goes our convo:

Mdm Habibah: *looks at my face for 3 seconds* Yes, you look very familiar! (hahahha wth)
Amirah: We went to perth together?
Mdm Habibah: *stares at my name tag not so obviously* Right! you're always with that friend! How is she?
Amirah: I kinda lost contact with her, so i have no idea *smiles* She's in temasek now.
*traffic starts to build as more parents started to que up behind MH*

Hahah, yeaaa wow, was kinda shocked. Anyway, my second duty was to give out cue numbers for the uniform sale. Parents were to let the student leaders check their forms first, before getting issued a cue number from me. Some kiasu parents ahhh..my goodness..

Well..updating my blog. These few dayz ok lar..well..on MonDay.....
Syahida & I went "drain sliding" (souNds WeIRd...but its One of syAhida's Brilliant ideAs..Its Realli fun..U shld Try iT!) Well..these r d few simple steps 2 folo :

1) Find a drain..i mean wif d cover/lid on it..u no wad i mean riteZ? bUt not those fulLy coVeRed..GeT it??
2) Make Sure its not 2 dryY 2 slide..if it is..use Ur "nike" bottle( if u haf), spray on dDrain..den run frm a few feet away
3) wEn ur apProacHing d drain...slide!!...Cool rite?? thank Shyda 4 dis cool sport(its a sport - at least i tink so)

F.Y.I ..ur shoes muz b flat so dat u Can slide!

D thing iz wif all dis fun & innovation, there r oso Bad PoiNts bout dis "sliding" thing. Juz 2 name a few:

Khadija is a reeeeally nice friend and guide mate that i have. She's really fun to walk half the east coast park and back with!
