Life is short. We need to remind ourselves that sometimes. I thought this pic was pretty uhm cool! Symbolizes : Don't chuck your life away!(or smtg like that) They should put this pic for eng oral. That'd be kinda interesting. Then we can talk about how we should value our life and so on.

Anyway! It's the last day of sept hols. Am taking a break from my lit hw. Shall get back to my own personal mount fuji of homework in a short while. I'm here to blog about my sept hols. (:

Monday: Studied and studied at home.

Tues: Chem remedial. Mar and I followed elisha to airport to study. Not so productive. But had fun and came home tired cos i talked too much =/

Wed: Studied half the day. Thought i'd read harry potter for my half an hour study break. Ended reading it for 4 hours =/ I should have read newsweek instead

Thurs: Went to Ducktour and Flyer with fellow PSL mentors and mentees! (more info below!)

DuckTOUR and Spore FLYER trip!

Mentors & Mentees outing to ^^. Reached school earlier to complete the scrapbooks. Might have pasted wrongly for some =/ Anyway, met my mentee Jiraksa and boarded the bus with her! I have a really nice and cheerful mentee :D

Went to Suntec to board the DUCK. For those who don't really know what i'm talking about. A ducktour is actually us boarding a duck-shaped bus which can also go in the sea. So, it's like a bus-cum-boat. Amphibious? haha.

Yea, then after that was the flyer! The flyer was going reeeeally slow that i wasn't too afraid of how high above we were. And thank god the capsule was fully enclosed and not like topless or smtg. If it were, i think i'd well have fainted instantly. o.0 Pics below!

Shall give my blog a little life. Hm, okay i shall blog about friday onwards!

Friday

Morning started out with Outdoor Games with teachers. Went running around helping to get the Goal stands for the soccer match with teachers. And helped get whistles etc.etc. PCs looked really stressed ): (esp the sec3s)

Was quite upset but i shan't say why.

Games went really well! :D

Helped set out refreshment area for teachers for a while before rushing to the canteen to prepare to usher teachers up to the hall! I got Mdm Chan. Initially, i had completely no idea whatsover who mdm tan was...=/ even though syazza tried reeeeally hard describing how she looked like. No worries, finally found her and ushered her to the hall. Gave her the souvenir and SASHAY-ed down the red carpet. The souvenirs loooked REALLLLY NICE! WELL DONE those involved!

And to Mar(esp!) and Afiqah, YOU GUYS DID A KICK-ESS JOB! (as emcees) Mar, remember i'm counting on you for an awesome wedding bash :D

Saw alot of seniors. Really cool to see how everyone turned out. Didn't get to see yi ying tho):
After that, lunch-ed with my dear C. I still have alot of things to tell you woman!

Train-ed to TM to meet my pri sch mates. Wanted to go back to gsps but apparently i reached too late. So, waited at TM for them. There so many cedarians there la omg! Hmm, and everyone i asked claimed that they were at TM on friday too. Woah.

Met Png lin, Yi Xuan, Sarah, Rachel, Ryan, Edward, Debra, Xi ying, Xuan Jie, Jin kai, Leon, kwun tong (tho he left like 5 mins after i arrived?) Did i miss out anyone? Edward, rachel and Pl left soon after. endy came late. Jane couldn't come ):

Anyway, we hung out at the open plaza-playground-for-overgrown-kids-apparently. Sat in a circle and played truth or dare like how we used to 3 years back! Soon, we left and had a slight problem deciding where to go next. Some didn't want to go play "ball", some didn't want to hang out at the void deck, some didn't one to go to the library. Haha, in the end we just sat at some ulu staircase leading basement-wards.

Exchanged jokes(some really SICK ones! ARGH, what happened to you guys!), told ghost stories, re-introed ourselves eg.

Really made me remember how awesome pri sch was and how daring and care-free we were back then. And how much i missed those times.

First day of fasting! Studied the whole day. My brain's now unfunctionable. Only managed to cover 3 chaps of Amaths trigo. Realized that i cant do all the exam papers without revising first! If not, i'll take a dillion years to complete them which is NOT an option. Chem remedial tmr. SIGH ):

Thursday

Rushed home after extra lessons of maths to catch BRAZIL vs BELGIUM! (live from beijing). Both teams played rather well and ROUGH at the same time! 2 red cards to belgium. I SAW MY PATO! Tho he wasnt really on form so they subsituted him at 60ish minute i think. Sad sad): Ronaldinho as usual played real well. Anyway, brazil won with 1-0. They only goaled at the 69th min(i think). And the five minutes i decided to go pee was the five minutes a goal was scored in):
ANYWAY, football makes me loony. I was happily spewing off vulgarities to the tv. Sorry tv! And dancing and squealing around the lving room whenever a team was gna score. hahahaha

And, sorry khadija that you couldn't find me in class during recess. Haha, fried food thursday!
Qeued for my chicken rice for 20 mins! Sheessssh. Thought it was worth the wait. And then, i saw the chicken she gave me. It was really small. And lesser serving too. GARH.

Friday

Ran around for f&b giving out the roti john to those in the parade. Video-d for fatimah with hanan. Hmm, nothing much actually. Anyway, hanged at the back of the hall with alena, mar and hanan for awhile during prize presentation. After that was community singing! Everyone went crazzzzehh! There were even people going around the hall in their "choo-choo-train". o.0 haha reminds me of SLC!

Hee, before the whole thing ended, afew of us volunteered to be Sprayers/poppers :D
So, sasi and i went to the centre of the hall and waited for our cue "Happy Birthday Singapore" before we sprayed those around us. HAHAHA I REMEMBER ALL THEIR !#$%%^ faces. HEEE(:

After that, stayed to clear up the hall. TMG and C criticized my sweeping methods. sheesh. haha and played around with the balloons with exco.
Then sample the buffet and then went out with C! :D

Went to vivo to watch THE DARK KNIGHT. But tickets were selling fast. So headed to PS. Saw vina, eunice tmg and char! Then ate at macs, got high and then bored then high again while waiting for our movie. The movie was...okay. Didnt 100% loved it. SO GRUESOME! Joker gives me nightmares. He was like threatening to carve people's faces into smiles using knives can! Crazy Banana la he!But C reaaaly liked it.

Left at 6 plus. Took wrong bus. The usual. Got home. Got scolded blah blah. Haha yep(: Knocked out soon after that.

National Track&Field Championships

Well, we got to skip the whole day of school to put up banners, chope good seats and cauldron off our area etc. at choa chu kang stadium :D

Hm, the day started off badly for me but once we reached the stadium, i was feeling chirpy. We put up banners, chope seats near the finishing line (cos' its tradition?) and managed to camwhore a little in between. Hmm, and then it was lunch break for abt 1.5hrs i think?

EXCO had to stay put and guard our seats. Our plan was to seat by the chairs and the moment another school came we'd rush to the front of the gate and lay our groundsheets there. Haha, yes we're typical singaporeans. Goodness. Anyway we took dam long to decide on our orders. First was macs, then no student meal, so KFC, then no student meal, then macs again! HAHAHA, and they scribbled all their orders on my notebook! HEE, i think i shall post it up here for memories sake!

Haha, so when she ordered it was like, "Ok, 3rd order : fillet o fish with coke. 4th order:fillet o fish with lemon tea, 5th order: fillet o fish with lemon tea. 6th order: fillet o fish lemon tea. ....No no, for the 3rd order it's fillet o fish with coke not lemon tea"

HAHAH, yea something like that! i coulndt stop laughing when i heard that!

Okay, so our food came really late. And so we sat on the groundsheet and ate like we're picnicing there. :D

When the event started, i think my mood swings started as well. SORRY SORRY SORRY to those who had to suffer the moody amirah. I know it's not everyday you find me so..low. And thank you thank you to all those who noticed and tried to cheer me up/gave me space to breathe. Special thanks to Simin, deryn, jiaai, mardhiyyah, vina, eunice tmg, sharon, jane and all those i didnt mention for trying to cheer me up :D

Racial Harmony Day

Got caught in the morning rain! sheesh. Anyway, reached class and sangeetha wasnt there to tie my sari! panicked abit but then iniya and indhuja came and rescued me! HEE THANK YOU :D

First period was PE, haha 1/2 the class was playing ping pong in their costumes. And and it was very hard to pick up those small balls when you're all tied up in a reeeally long piece of cloth. Trust me, i know through experience.

After that was lit, and we had 3rd period off for the pasar malam! (which was held in broad daylight!) Haha, watched jasmine, liching, felicia, and huiling bellydance. wow.

Haha, yea short day really. After that, went out with C! We uh got lost and couldnt find our destionation till much later. Then, we went to mug at raffles hospital! Hahaha :D

Well, these few days have been an emotional rollercoaster for me. And, something someone dear said to me made me reflect on my problems and how i've been viewing it. that sometimes we get so caught up in our porblems, and how much we magnify it and while in the process lose sight of what's important and those who are suffering way more than we are.

And that we should be thankful for all that we have.

I wanna thank all those who have stood by me(especially C, sya and by), Listened to my petty problems, reassured, comforted, adviced, and was just there for me. Thanks(:
