I Don't Think It Means What You Think It Means

I never thought you'd be the more mature one. Its true that i allow my heart to govern my actions and my emotions overwhelm any bit of rationality left within me. It's an odd feeling, having the tables turned.

On a seperate note, i totally didnt expect my blog to have 67 hits in 3 days. Okay, maybe that's quite little? But considering that the same few people tag and only a few (that i know of) read my blog, its quite an achievement eh ;) maybe i should sign up for that nuffnang thing! wonder how that works.

A couple of weeks back i googled 'Fun things to do in Singapore' cos i was running out of ideas..
and i came across this very very interesting website/blog. Read:

Pathetic … But not to worry. HELP is here. I have compiled a list of things you can do in Singapore, mostly free for people like you. And if you are a tourist looking for things to do in Singapore, especially when you cannot stand the usual type of tourist activities (like buying useless jade and ginseng that make you sleep), then this site can help you, I think J

Things to do in Singapore idea 07 - Changi Airport

Take a train to Changi Airport. Buy two cups of coffee, find a comfortable pillar in the departure hall viewing gallery, watch planes take off and ask yourself why you are not on the plane heading for a vacation. Then wait at the arrival hall and see happy faces coming out from the gate. That should make you feel worst if you don’t have the money for a vacation. But it may inspire you to work a little harder.

Things to do in Singapore idea 22 - Mustafa Shopping Centre

Go shopping at Mustafa Shopping Centre along Serangoon. They are open 24 hours. See if you can find travel suitcases for less than $20 and watches as low as $5. It’s only here that you can see shops selling Cross pens in a bundle. But check out the spice corner. Sorry, no spice girls around there, mostly mature male workers in sarongs.

Mustapha has everything imaginable. It’s like a big mama store. I hope the Moody Mama from 913FM will someday be as big as them.

Monday

Overslept. Rushed out to meet Lydia at PPMacs for breakfast. Turned out that she was even later than me! Bought 2 sets of Egg Mcmuffin thing. Sooo..walked to school :) gosh, i miss Cedar Ave a lot a lot. Only realised it a few days back though. Ate our Macs at the canteen, and the both of us couldnt stop laughing! Hahaha, laughed and choked on our food countless times :D HAHA. Always cant stop laughing when im with that girl lah. hahaha. And then i think the Prefects were playing some barter trade game? Something like exchanging an item with us, but they said we won't get it back. (first group claims so). Though another group claimed otherwise.

Soo, i gave my precious green umbrella, thinking i'd get it back. And lydia exchanged her Sch Uniform, the one she had very nicely folded and about to donate to the PR. We received a pen, 3-in-1 coffee mix packet, and glue in return. Hahahah :D

Okay, actually it was really funny. Hard to describe her. Just before the group that nicked lyd's uni left, she was alrd shouting, "EH, dont crumple my uniform!" :D :D :D

and i was very restless, worrying about the well-being of my green umbrella.

Anyhoo, taught charmaine, zhi hui and luoting some Colour party things and how to erect a flagpole. Initially, lydia and I were quite worried cos we couldn't remember for nuts how to tie this and this. But thank god, it all came back to us while doing :) Was really fun coming back, miss the guides!

Rushed to orchard. Took the circle line for the first time! so coool. :) plus such a time-saver.

Shopped with alena and sya. Got some of my prom stuff! bumped into wenhui and suyi. 2 annoying guys boys kept bugging me and Sya about some promotion crap. Seriously he walked beside me for at least 2 mins blabbering about what nonsense. And i told him no thank you every 5 seconds! Goodness. Take a hint, will ya.

Ate at far east, food was good :D esp sya's char kuai (sp?). Went home afterwards.

On the train, saw a rather familiar person who kept looking at me. So i asked if she was a cedarian. Learned that she's actually my guides senior! She was sec 4 when i was sec 1.Heh, i kinda didnt recognise at first. It was really nice talking to her tho, and felt like i made a new friend :D

Maid got back from indo & brought with her 5kg of Duku (its a fruit that looks a bit like the longan) from her farm.

The Best Way Out Is Always Through

and that's why i'm gonna continue blogging.

As you may notice, my blog updates are sporadic at best. I honestly didn't know i still have readers!

Well, the holidays have been okay i guess. It isn't as great as i anticipated it to be. It's like there's so many things you planned to do but in the end, you're just too lazy to do it. Haha, oh well. Anyway, here's a rough outline on what's been going on since O's. (at least what i can rmb). Im gonna blog this cos' i hope to remember it all for years and years to come :) i'll go into details in my future posts.


November

14-17th - Perak trip with UGs!
18th, Wed - Good riddance to all school books, exam papers etc :D
19th, Thurs - Swimming in the morning with Sarah, Sunflower Patrol outing after, watched 2012
20th, Friday - Whole-Day Date with Richard Seifer(legend of the seeker!) on Youtube ^^
22nd, Sunday - Sec4 Guides outing to Kallang Leisure Park (ice-skating)
23rd, Monday - Went to school and talked to half of the current Exco. Went home with Sarah :), SLEEPOVER at my house with alena and sya :D :D (well..we didn't really sleep much)
24th, Tues - Roller-blading at Pasir Ris Park with Yan Hong! (attempted to)
25th, Wed - Healing from the injuries attained while roller-blading);
26th, Thurs - Hanged out and had lunch with Jia Ai at bishan, PSL farewell!, Some neighbourhood gathering at night.
27th, Friday - Hari Raya Haji

2nd, Wed - Cycled at ECP with sarah (sweat like crazy!), Out with one of my bestie :D were supposed to go Mt. Faber but didn't. Oh well..
3rd, Thurs - Sya came over to my place, to just hang out and slack around. :D
6th, Sun - Out with Jia Ai in search for her junior's present :)
7th, Mon - Sent my maid off at airport, breakfast with parents at BK (horrible service). Sentosa with the guides!
8th-10th - Melacca trip with fam
11th, Fri - Watched New moon with Fatimah at Shaw House! (walked around town till my feet ached)
12th, Sat - Went over to Sya's and slacked :)
14th, Mon - Went to orchard with Yan hong. Checked out the mall 313 (walked around town again till my feet ached)
16th, Wed - DRESS-HUNTING PART 1 with alena and Sya at Orchrad :D (walked around town AGAIN till my feet ached)
17th, Thurs - Supposed to go for morning swim with Sarah, but we both overslept =/ , collected report book at Madrasah (met kamariah, Atiqah and even Sham! hahahah)
18th, Friday- COOKED MY FIRST REAL DISH EVER! (outside home econs). *pats my own head* hoohoo.

I was at a food court in Melacca. I was telling my family the above. And how Singapore's MacD tastes better than Msia's. Okay, i might have been emphasizing that Msia's KFC taste better with it's yummy cheesy wedges and fresh chicken etc. Convo -

Me: You know, Malaysia's KFC tastes waaay better than Singapore's
Mum: *faces me* Hmm, just wondering. How much did KFC malaysia pay you?

I've realised that us sec 4s have already started worrying about our O's results. (though many of us had vowed to only start worrying in Jan). In fact, many of my friends (including myself) have started having nightmares about it..

I think C said she dreamt she got 20 plus points?

Sya dreamed that right after receiving he result slip, she lost it! And then her bro did something illegal to find out her results :D hahah

Alena dreamed that her results, instead of numbers/letters were in weird symbols that she couldn't decipher.

I dreamt i got 25 points... D:

Nightmares. You just can't help but hate them huh?

And, i just finished my last box of Mango tic-tac!
