The Best Way Out Is Always Through

and that's why i'm gonna continue blogging.

As you may notice, my blog updates are sporadic at best. I honestly didn't know i still have readers!

Brace yourself for a super long update :D

Well, the holidays have been okay i guess. It isn't as great as i anticipated it to be. It's like there's so many things you planned to do but in the end, you're just too lazy to do it. Haha, oh well. Anyway, here's a rough outline on what's been going on since O's. (at least what i can rmb). Im gonna blog this cos' i hope to remember it all for years and years to come :) i'll go into details in my future posts.


November

14-17th - Perak trip with UGs!
18th, Wed - Good riddance to all school books, exam papers etc :D
19th, Thurs - Swimming in the morning with Sarah, Sunflower Patrol outing after, watched 2012
20th, Friday - Whole-Day Date with Richard Seifer(legend of the seeker!) on Youtube ^^
22nd, Sunday - Sec4 Guides outing to Kallang Leisure Park (ice-skating)
23rd, Monday - Went to school and talked to half of the current Exco. Went home with Sarah :), SLEEPOVER at my house with alena and sya :D :D (well..we didn't really sleep much)
24th, Tues - Roller-blading at Pasir Ris Park with Yan Hong! (attempted to)
25th, Wed - Healing from the injuries attained while roller-blading);
26th, Thurs - Hanged out and had lunch with Jia Ai at bishan, PSL farewell!, Some neighbourhood gathering at night.
27th, Friday - Hari Raya Haji
28th, Sat - Cedar's open house :)
30th, Mon - Marina Square-d with some 2/o classmates

December

2nd, Wed - Cycled at ECP with sarah (sweat like crazy!), Out with one of my bestie :D were supposed to go Mt. Faber but didn't. Oh well..
3rd, Thurs - Sya came over to my place, to just hang out and slack around. :D
6th, Sun - Out with Jia Ai in search for her junior's present :)
7th, Mon - Sent my maid off at airport, breakfast with parents at BK (horrible service). Sentosa with the guides!
8th-10th - Melacca trip with fam
11th, Fri - Watched New moon with Fatimah at Shaw House! (walked around town till my feet ached)
12th, Sat - Went over to Sya's and slacked :)
14th, Mon - Went to orchard with Yan hong. Checked out the mall 313 (walked around town again till my feet ached)
16th, Wed - DRESS-HUNTING PART 1 with alena and Sya at Orchrad :D (walked around town AGAIN till my feet ached)
17th, Thurs - Supposed to go for morning swim with Sarah, but we both overslept =/ , collected report book at Madrasah (met kamariah, Atiqah and even Sham! hahahah)
18th, Friday- COOKED MY FIRST REAL DISH EVER! (outside home econs). *pats my own head* hoohoo.

I dont know who would seriously bother reading the above...

haha :D

(btw, Malaysian KFC tastes better than Singapore's)

I was at a food court in Melacca. I was telling my family the above. And how Singapore's MacD tastes better than Msia's. Okay, i might have been emphasizing that Msia's KFC taste better with it's yummy cheesy wedges and fresh chicken etc. Convo -

Me: You know, Malaysia's KFC tastes waaay better than Singapore's
Mum: *faces me* Hmm, just wondering. How much did KFC malaysia pay you?

okay, maybe that doesn't sound as funny when i type it here...

Moving on! A few weeks ago my fam and I were having tea (yes, we have tea together) when i asked them a joke i had made up earlier that day and thus

THE NUT JOKE SERIES

Me: Which nut will is very fast and will definitely outrun you in a race?
*Dad and bro starts guessing and throwing random answers*
*Mum looks stunned (as always when there's a lame joke involved) and gives a defeated look*
Me: Cashew nut! (Catch-you)

HAHAHA getttit?
and then as always, the rest of the family started making up their own nut jokes..

*a few seconds later*

Dad: Which nut will wet the floor?

.......
.....

Peanut! (Pee-nut)


* a few seconds later...*

Bro: Which nut tastes like chocolate?
................
...............

Coconut! (Cocoa-nut)


It's amazing how spontaneous we are in the area of jokes :D
(yes, you can see where amirah inherits her lame genes)

I've realised that us sec 4s have already started worrying about our O's results. (though many of us had vowed to only start worrying in Jan). In fact, many of my friends (including myself) have started having nightmares about it..

I think C said she dreamt she got 20 plus points?

Sya dreamed that right after receiving he result slip, she lost it! And then her bro did something illegal to find out her results :D hahah

Alena dreamed that her results, instead of numbers/letters were in weird symbols that she couldn't decipher.

I dreamt i got 25 points... D:

Nightmares. You just can't help but hate them huh?

And, i just finished my last box of Mango tic-tac!

Plus, so few places sell it.

(you guys should try it! it's really nice. Nicole says it tastes like mango ice cream)

And no Tic-Tac did not pay me to say that.

I can't sit properly right now ):
there's a huge purple bruise near my bum.

I have cuts and bruises all over my body.(Okay, maybe not ALL over my body.) All in the past 3 days..

I'm super exhausted right now. That's the result of going out practically almost every day.

Finally one rest day tmr, can't wait :D

O for O Levels Are Over!

It feels nothing short of amazing to be online again.
The cheering and whoopings at the end of Chem Paper 1 across the hall today was amazing too.
:D

Off to perak tmr with the Guides and other UGs! Will be back on the 17th :)

I think this trip will be a really special one for me albeit it won't be the same as going to Sabah/Brunei with my batchmates. For many reasons like it being the last trip with cedarians, and because my family's from Perak. My granddad was born and lived his teenage years there, my cousins still live there and so do almost all my Grandaunts/granduncles/living relatives etc.

It'd be interesting, definitely :)

I just hope i don't drown.

Today was exhausting. In the end, didn't go to the theme park with my 4P chums (who ended up binging at Seoul Garden - hahah!) Instead, went out with Sya and Alena. Walked ALOT ALOT ALOT. WINDOW SHOPPED ALOT ALOT ALOT. Feet ached (for me anyway). Had a great time, and burnt loads of fats!

Took 36 back with alena and talked about LEGEND OF THE SEEKER (omg!). Have i mentioned it's like nicest most wonderful-tastic show that ever lived? (and the fact that the lead guy's really nice to look at makes the show all the much better. Heheh :D). I thought 36 went to siglap, but it doesn't =.= ended up walking alone in the rain, soaking wet. Sheeesh.

Went to many places that brought up many bad memories. But then i realised they weren't neccesarily bad memories. They were sad ones.

I seriously hope that i won't emo during tmr's trip. Time alone with my thoughts proves to be rather unhealty and potentially disastrous.

Yet.

Yet, i need time.

Time to think everything through.

There's no going back this time.

How do you part with something that has become part of you?

In spite of the hurt that knows no end

How do you muster up courage that isn't even there to begin with?

Time will tell.
